Hello and Welcome!

We had the wonderful pleasure of acquiring the Homestead Bakery in January of 2024, after years of serving this business and the Greater Waco community. We chose the name "Broken Grain Baking Company" as a symbol representing how life can be born when a grain loses its structure of security and can be grown into a new life in bread. Much in the way we feel that God needs to break us of our comforts in order to prepare us for our final purpose in life.  

We hope you fall in love with our breads, share our cookies with your families, and enjoy our scones with teas and coffees. Our love and dedication to these foods we want you to experience at every flavor.
